Interactive Map of Japan
Description
Goethe Institute Tôkyo
2019 - 2020
The Interactive Map of Japan is to accompany the Summer Olympics in Japan. Young people learning German and language assistants from Germany who currently live in Japan will present the places where they live in German. The presentations will be created with extended reality. To do this, they use Google Tour Creator for 360 ° tours, CoSpaces with the Merge Cube for mixed reality and XPanda to create augmented reality exhibitions. The presentations created in this way are then placed on an interactive map of Japan so that visitors to the Olympic Games and other people interested in Japan can view them.
In October 2019, there was a webinar for the language assistants and in January 2020, I gave workshops for students and teachers at the Goethe Institute in Tôyko.
