Between 2012 and 2016, I worked on a virtual exchange project with my colleague Christophe Jaeglin from Alsace. The students embarked on a simulation in which they assumed new identities and, as part of a fictional European exchange project, moved into shared virtual apartments and interacted with the help of Web 2.0 tools. They got their tasks from Machinimas, videos recorded in the virtual world "Second Life".

We would like to develop the project further and build the European youth village in a virtual world so that the students can actually meet virtually and speak and interact with each other.
